Screening
& behavior
Before a dog is accepted to day camp, they must first pass a screening process that takes place at our facility. We will conduct a behavior assessment based on your dog's personality, temperament, energy level, ability to play with others, stress cues, and obedience. We truly believe there are no "bad" dogs, some just don't play well with others! We screen day camp dogs to ensure our facility is a safe environment for all.
Does my dog need an evaluation before attending?
1
Yes. Every new camper must complete a screening and behavior assessment at our facility before being accepted into day camp.
What happens during the screening?
We evaluate each dog's:
Personality
Temperament
Energy level
Ability to play appropriately with other dogs
Stress signals and comfort level
Basic obedience
Our goal is to create safe, compatible playgroups where every dog can thrive.

We truly believe there are no bad dogs—some simply prefer different environments or don't enjoy group play. If we determine that group daycare isn't the best fit, we'll let you know.

What if my dog doesn't pass the screening?
Can a dog be asked to leave camp?
Yes. For the safety of every dog and staff member, we reserve the right to remove any dog exhibiting aggressive or unsafe behavior.
